Toddi is an award-winning journalist who has covered the financial markets, real estate, retirement issues, small business and women in business for print, television, radio and the Internet. She is currently a contributing  writer for The Wall Street Journal, a columnist for the MSN Small Business Channel and a contributor to Knowledge@Wharton. Toddi also works with professional services firms to conceive, write and edit thought leadership pieces.  In addition, Toddi’s work appears in BusinessWeek and ForbesWoman as well as publications for the Conference Board, a business and nonprofit economic think tank. In 2007, Toddi launched a media consulting firm where she creates strategies to help small businesses, companies and organizations market to traditional and social media.

Toddi was an associate editor at BusinessWeek magazine for 11 years, where she had a proven track record for groundbreaking, provocative stories and special reports on such topics as the transformation of the bond market in the digital age, baby boomers who still want to work in retirement and the hidden impact of the alternative minimum tax. Toddi became the first woman columnist at BusinessWeek magazine when she created and wrote a popular and well-respected weekly column in print and online called HERS, which focused on women and their financial and professional lives. Toddi also edited a page of brief news items. 

Before joining BusinessWeek in 1996, Toddi wrote for Forbes magazine for five years.  Prior to becoming a journalist, Toddi was an economic analyst for five years at a private economic consulting firm, National Economic Research Associates in Washington, D.C.

She has made several TV appearances on CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, Power Lunch, Good Day New York, Weekend Today, Lifetime Live, Fox News, and This Week in Business and has also spoken and moderated at several conferences including The Conference Board, The Belizean Grove, Deutsche Bank's Women on Wall Street, Financial Women's Association and The Corporate State. 

Toddi serves on the advisory boards of  ITPAR, Nina McLemore, the Belizean Grove and the executive committee of the Winston Preparatory School in Winston, Connecticut. Toddi is a member of the International Women's Forum and the Economic Club of New York. Toddi received her Master's in Journalism from Northwestern University and a B.A. in economics from the University of Michigan.
